I have always had a strong interest in history, ever since my grandfather sat me down with his history books when I was three years old. Eleven years later after stumbling accross some ancient coin sites on the internet I resolved to begin collecting ancient Roman coins. Since that moment in mid 1999 my collection has grown and shrunk, my interests broadened and matured into a collection spanning 2500 years of history, from the first handstruck coins of the 6th century BC to the machine struck coins, tokens and medals of the 18th and early 19th centuries.
